FAQ: We've built our own indices regarding companies' digital readiness.
Vainu makes it easy for you to find companies according to their level of digital readiness. All of the three different indices are based on the number of tools and technologies Vainu is able to recognize.
Vainu indices can be found under the Digital Footprint / Website category in the filters.
▪️ Digitalization index (technologies such as marketing automation, e-commerce platform, social media channels)
The Social media index is calculated partly the same way as the digitalization index. However, only social media type technologies are used on the calculations from the data found on the website. A company can have up to 6 social media technologies valued differently. Points a company can receive can exceed the maximum of 10. Any company that will receive a value of 10 or more will be given the highest digitality index. In addition to the social media technologies found from the website, we use the company's social media numbers to determine the value of the index.
❗️These indices are not absolute truths but instead, they give you an idea of the extent a company is using certain types of tools or technologies. The indices give you an easy and fast way to check if the company is digitally active or progressive.
